overall, a handy, light use addition to my entryway. So many pieces to put together! but they go together easily. I missed the part about the shelves being made of cloth; they are like little hammocks, but very taut. so no heavy books or vases. they would tip. Because of the nature of the constituent pieces, if you put anything of any weight on the hooks, the upper portion bends away from the wall as shown in my photos. I fixed that with a little double-sided tape. I'd recommend anchoring it at the top for stability. the entire unit is very light in weight. beware that the photos on the listing do not represent the true proportions. the hat they have in the photo looks like it must be for a doll. my photo should give you an idea of the true scale.
